General Info

If you are searching for a memorable dining experience in Naousa, Amalaya - Cycladic Restaurant stands out as a place where great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and thoughtful service come together naturally. Located at Παραλια Αγιου Δημητριου, Naousa 844 01, Greece, this restaurant offers a welcoming setting that fits perfectly with the coastal charm of the area.

From the moment I explored the menu, it was clear that the kitchen focuses on carefully prepared dishes that highlight fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. One of the most impressive plates was the Cuttlefish Ink Risotto and Cockles. The risotto delivered a rich, deep flavor while the cockles added a pleasant seafood freshness that complemented every bite. It is the kind of dish that leaves a lasting impression long after the meal is finished.

Another standout from the menu is the Crispy Calamari and Garlic Confit Aioli. The calamari arrives perfectly crisp without feeling heavy, while the garlic confit aioli adds a creamy and flavorful touch. For guests looking for something lighter, the Salade Grecque offers a refreshing option that showcases classic Mediterranean ingredients. Meanwhile, the Steak De Thon provides a satisfying choice for seafood lovers who appreciate a hearty and well-prepared main course.

What makes the experience feel complete is how comfortably everything comes together. Enjoying a glass of wine alongside the meal adds an extra layer of enjoyment, and those who prefer a warm beverage can also find quality coffee available. These details help create a dining experience that feels both relaxed and refined.

As with many popular dining locations, practical information matters. Amalaya - Cycladic Restaurant provides restroom facilities for guests, helping ensure convenience throughout the visit. It is also worth noting that the restaurant does not offer delivery service, making it a destination best enjoyed in person. Additionally, there is no wheelchair accessible parking lot available on-site, which visitors may want to consider when planning their visit.

Reading reviews and experiencing the restaurant firsthand reveals why many diners appreciate this location. What customers say?

“ The best restaurant in town with a massive difference! View: incredible. Service: immaculate. And their dishes had all the taste you want from a modern cuisine and zero pretentiousness, which you get from the other “hot” spots like Barbarossa and luaz! Simple, elegant, no fanfares! Impressive! Well done! ”

“ My wife and I stumbled into this place, and man, what a treat! The avocado crab dish was incredible, and the calamari was the best I’ve ever had. We had the fish of the day: sea bream, and it was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and a huge portion. Don’t get me started on the selection of local Greek wines—we took a picture of the white blend bottle we ordered so we can try to find it when we get home. The service was efficient and friendly, and it’s an amazing view literally right on the water. It has the vibes of a fishing village upscale eatery with no pretension at all. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable. I couldn’t recommend it more highly! ”

“ I had two amazing dinners at Amalaya. Located right on the water it’s a beautiful place for a sunset dinner and over two nights I got to try the Greek salad, fried goat cheese, octopus (probably the best I’ve ever had) and the sea bass carpaccio. When I came in to make a reservation for the second night they introduced me to the chef since he had worked in the city I’m from and at the end of the meal the chef also came out to say hello again. As a solo traveler the level of friendliness shown by all of the staff was very welcome. 10/10 food, service and location ”
